“The Killing of Mary Surratt” has been chosen for the

nd Rochester International
Film Festival in New York (to be shown on Saturday, April 24 @
4:00 p.m.). The
Rochester
International Film Festival (April 22-24, 2010), the world’s
oldest continuously-held short film festival, has been presented each year
since 1959. Each festival includes a wide variety of narrative films,
documentaries, and animations submitted by independent filmmakers from
all parts of the world.
“The Killing of Mary Surratt” is one of just 30 films
chosen from around the world and has the honor of playing at the
prestigious Dryden Theatre at George Eastman House, the world’s
premiere museum of photography and film in Rochester, NY. Each film
chosen for the festival receives their distinctive Shoestring Trophy.
Film(s) chosen as a favorite by the festival’s audiences will
tour the country as part of their permanent Best of the Fest collection.
