GIFT SHOP AND BOOKSTORE

The Gift Shop and Bookstore carries a wide variety of topical and seasonal gifts, souvenirs, books and videos. Items range from fine china teapots, flowery Victorian notes, and period jewelry to postcards, pencils, and children's toys.

A large selection of books pertaining to the era and history is available for sale. There are books about the Civil War, Lincoln Assassination, the Victorian era, local history, and many more topics including books and pamphlets published by the Surratt Society and books for children. Purchases may be made by mail or phone. Send check or money order payable to “Surratt House Gift Shop” to the SURRATT HOUSE MUSEUM, PO Box 427, 9118 Brandywine Road, Clinton MD 20735. Phone orders with VISA or MasterCard may be made by calling (301)868-1121 (voice and TTY). Maryland residents must add 6% sales tax. Postage is $3 for the first book ordered and $1 for each additional book in the same order unless otherwise specified in the Mail Order List.
